Migration
Move your existing cap table into Perseids
Cap table migration into Perseids is deliberately staged. You upload a spreadsheet or a platform export, map the columns, review the securities Perseids inferred, resolve anything flagged as inconsistent, and only then confirm. Nothing reaches the ownership ledger before you accept it.
What you can import
- A spreadsheet of holders and holdings, in your own format.
- The Perseids import template, if you would rather start from a known shape.
- CSV or Excel exports produced by other equity platforms.
- Option grant schedules, SAFEs and convertible notes as separate sheets or files.
Perseids does not claim one-click migration from other platforms. Migration is an assisted import of the export those platforms produce, with human review.
The reconciliation flow
- 1Upload the file and choose the source format.
- 2Map columns to stakeholders, security classes, quantities, dates and prices.
- 3Perseids proposes an interpretation and flags gaps: missing dates, unpriced grants, totals that do not tie.
- 4Resolve each flag, or accept the proposal where it is right.
- 5Confirm. The ledger is written as explicit transactions with an audit trail.
After migration
Once the ledger is confirmed you can run fundraising scenarios, publish an employee view, open a data room and connect investors — all from the same record.
Put this into practice with Perseids.
